"The Ark" our first home on the water, We moved aboard with our 4 kids in 1969, and moved off with our 6 kids in 1971.  Peace & Tranquility at Still Pond Maryland. We spent many summers there with Jenny & Kathy.

(Note the corpse on the roof)

This is "The Ark" in it's winter slip. After the oldest four of our kids had abandoned ship, we moved back aboard with Jenny & Kathy.

The summers were idyllic but the winters were an endurance test. It was  heated by a coal stove and wood burning fireplace.

Hey girls, remember hauling wood?

Our Last Summer Aboard...

Our Winter Slip in the Fall of the last year we were Living Aboard...

The Winter looked a little different..

First Thaw of Winter

"Enough Already"

This is where we lived in the winter of 2004.

When we first moved onto the "Sand Dollar" in 1983

our plan was to live aboard for the rest of our lives...

But now we felt the Lord was speaking to us and saying

"To every thing there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under the heaven"  Ecclesiastes 3:1

So we moved to Philadelphia and now live within walking distance of our church,

Calvary Chapel Of Philadelphia where I first began working as a volunteer in 1994

and have been on Staff full time since then...
